The barking baby

So...I promised you a post about Charlie's desire to be a household pet during our stay in Michigan. We have much proof in the form of photos.

When we arrived in Michigan, Charlie quickly took to Aunt Kathy and Kelsey's two cuties, Hogan and Hollister. He also took to their cages.  I know...it seems wrong to let him get in there, but he was truly content! I promise!!

And though Aunt Kathy graciously gave up her master bedroom for our family, Charlie opted out of the king-sized bed, and insisted upon sleeping in the doggie's bed on the floor!  And he slept very well, I might add!  Silly dog boy!

Of course, he claimed his stake on the cat's condos, too!  He's a territorial little guy...

Back home already

Vacation has come and gone. Our trip to Michigan was SO much fun.  And so relaxing.

I must give props to our world-travelin' children, who were so good the entire trip. Gone were the schedules. Gone were the plans. Gone were the bedtimes.

We were there to celebrate the high school graduation of our beautiful (and smart) niece, Kelsey. Madi and Charlie both adore her.

The weather was fantastic, and the kids did their share of bouncing around.

We were also joined by Murphy and Myles with their family.  We managed to get a cute group shot of the cousins!

Most of Charlie's visit was spent bonding with the animals. In fact, he desperately wanted to be one of them.  I promise to post all about his hilarious antics.

We saw much of our family that we haven't seen in years. It was a great time. Can you tell by our plane ride home?

On vacation

Just a quick post to report that we are in Michigan having a fabulous time with family. I have much to post but did not bring my computer (working on Kelsey's), so I am not able to upload photos, which tell a BIG part of this story!

We will return over the weekend, so I'll just have to play catch-up then...

Fun with the Godfamily

Daniel and Charlie's Godfamily, that is--Aunt Sheila, Uncle David, Murphy and Myles.

The kids had a blast swimming together and making pizzas. It was Charlie's first time on the BIG waterslide, so Mommy stayed inside for most of that heart-palpitating action.

We always have so much fun with them. Good times, good conversation, and good food ALWAYS guaranteed:)
