Our Charity Choices

Here are a few of the charities we love and have touched our hearts through our journey with Daniel. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Daniel's name would be greatly appreciated.

Half the Sky Foundation
www.halfthesky.org
Donations can be made online. They actually have "The Heart Project", which could save a child with congenital heart defects:)

People in Crisis United
1611 N.W. 12th Avenue, Room 5009
Miami, FL 33136-1096
www.peopleincrisisunited.com
Phone: 786-252-3466 email: peopleincrisisunited@gmail.com
Checks payable to: People in Crisis United
One of the nurses at Holtz started this foundation recently to help children in crisis.

Ronald McDonald House of South Florida

They are a lifesaver for many families during tough times, and they really helped us too.

Dear Lisa, Jimmy and Madi,

My heart has been so saddened since I heard about your precious son, Daniel. Your family has been such an inspiration for so many myself included. You are so strong and your faith has been incredible. Oh how God must be so proud of you all. We don't always know why things happen but you are right when you said Gad has a plan for you and for Daniel. His little life was and will continue to touch so many people I feel so privlidged to have been able to meet him.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5 For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

My God wrap his arms around and comfort you all in your time of suffering.
God Bless you!
Love,
The Barnhill's

Dear Lisa, Jimmy and Madi,
I am so sorry to read about Daniel. Today was the first day that I have checked your site. I'm so sorry that I won't be able to attend the Memorial for Daniel but my love and prayers go out to your family.
Sincerely,
Kendra Bivins

I was so saddened to hear what happened. Judy and I only found out this afternoon. I am so sorry. My heart is just breaking for your beautiful family. I just think of your little angel laughing and playing at Jesus' feet. I read what someone wrote about you both being an inspiration and that is so true. You have inspired me and your faith in God has strengthened and renewed my faith.
Our little boy moves in this Friday, on his birthday of all days. You are in my prayers and my husbands prayers as well. He has his men's group praying for you. All across this country people are whispering your name to God. Love you both! Tracy Simmons Bonilla
